“House and grounds were amazing! We spent most of our time at the villa enjoying the views and hanging out with Trouble the cat – she’s quite the charmer. We took advantage of the barbecue and well stocked kitchen for meals. The stove top griddle was great for grilled sandwiches! We also really appreciated that arrangements to and from the airport were taken care of by our wonderful hosts. Fantastic vacation, thank you Louise and Peter!“

“Your home is so incredibly beautiful … Every single detail (so much so that a few days we never left the villa) was so well executed. Your gardens are amazing!  I must have taken a thousand photos (plants, sunsets, lizards, monkeys, the cats!).

“From the wonderful house to the extraordinary gardens to the deck and patio and pool, the seclusion, the peace, the incredible view — and Louise and Peter – their warmth and helpfulness and generosity. Our stay there was as good as it can get. Anything one could want, expect or need in the house was there. We have stayed in many AirBnB’s ( and VRBO’s etc) in many islands and countries – and our experience at Coccoloba was, without question, the most wonderful we’ve had. The only negative is…we have been ruined for all future stays around the world. No other place will compare.“

“Pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful house, stunning views. Didn’t go out that much because we love being at the house – usually lunch out at the beach then back to the house for the afternoon by the pool. It’s the little things, like watching the hummingbirds around the red plants on the pool deck, that make the place so special…. and floating at the end of the pool looking down on the boats in Oualie Bay… and cocktails watching the gorgeous sunset from the deck. We cooked at home a lot – the kitchen has everything and anything you could want – it is equipped like a home kitchen and not with the cheaper versions that you usually find in rental properties. The bathrooms are super – so many showers in one, rain shower, vertical shower. All in all, the loveliest place we have ever stayed“

“Peter and Louise, your slice of heaven is an engineering marvel, not to mention its intoxicating beauty.  We work really hard the majority of the year and do not take off much for rest and rejuvenation.  But after Coccoloba we realise we should, a lot more often.  The mornings were perfectly slow!  The afternoons were extraordinarily hot and the evenings wonderfully sublime!  We did not want it any other way.  Chef Michael grilled fresh lobster for dinner one night and all our pains were removed with our massages.  All in all only one word describes your marvel – HEAVEN!“

“Had the most amazing time at this lovely villa! At the top of the steep, rocky road is the most gorgeous house ever, surrounded by beautiful tropical plants. The views… breathtaking is an understatement. You can see across to St. Kitts and in the distance St. Barths. Lying by the pool – the blues of the pool, the ocean and the sky, the peace and quiet is incredible, so calming. The deck is huge and super comfortable for lounging, with sofas and a chaise but if you’d rather be inside there is a wall of glass doors that open up so that you can still enjoy the amazing views. Peter and Louise are the perfect hosts – able to answer any questions and full of recommendations as to where to eat out, etc. We did venture out for a couple of meals but really, who wants to leave this place?! Cannot recommend it highly enough – you will want for nothing at this special place!“

“We absolutely love staying here. This visit was our third stay and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Just a short transfer from St Kitts airport and you’ll be relaxing in a very private setting with beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea and St Kitts. Don’t worry about getting from the airport and crossing the sea from St Kitts to Nevis as it was totally organised by Peter and Louise who are very reliable! It is a very short transfer – we made it in less than an hour. The villa is maintained to a high standard by the owners Louise and Peter, who are lovely people and are always happy to help with information, advice and even hosting a waterfall walk. The villa has everything required for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday including a large pool, great deck for sunbathing, a relaxing patio, seating area and a lounge with a large TV, Cable TV and a film/music library. The kitchen is also nicely equipped and there is a great barbecue. If you don’t want to cook there are also a number of good restaurants and lively bars a very short drive from the villa. You really won’t be disappointed staying here.“

“Spent a week at this lovely property. I’ve no doubt it has one of the best views in the Caribbean with St Kitts across the water and sunsets directly across. Very luxurious, yet homely..especially with a resident cat! Which is very pleasant and low maintenance. The fantastic infinity pool kept our 12 year old entertained throughout and the excellent Oualie beach is right on your doorstep – one of the nicest beaches on the island, along with Lovers beach just a short walk further along. All in all, loved our stay and Peter & Louise are very respectful of your privacy, yet are always at hand should you need anything. Hope to stay again in the near future. “Coccoloba provided the ultimate honeymoon retreat that exceeded our high expectations in every way.

Peter and Louise were gracious hosts and arranged all critical details that ensured our smooth arrival and enjoyable seven day stay. They also provided us with helpful insights on the best things to do and explore on Nevis. We felt like locals within days of arriving.

We cooked breakfast at the house almost every day, never needing to rush away to start the day. The first few days there we were able to get by without renting a car. It only took about 10 minutes to walk down to the road where it was always easy to flag down a cab. Often we would just walk right to Oualie Bay for rum punches. The walk back up was a workout, but we enjoyed the excersice. Walking the road at night, our path was lit by fireflies which was quite a magical experience. Ginger the neighborhood dog was always eager to guide us home as well. Later in the week we rented a car so that we could explore the other side of the island. There are many highly rated restaurants throughout the island and all are a short drive from Coccoloba.

Much of our time there we found ourselves lounging on the outdoor patio, reading books and never growing tired of the priceless view of St. Kitts and the Caribbean Ocean. The covered portion of the patio was a welcomed relief from the sun that still provided all the joy of being outdoors. Having access to our own infinity pool steps from house was a luxury we truly appreciated. The western exposure provided for breathtaking sunsets that never grew old while we were there.

We cannot recommend Coccoloba highly enough, and already dream of the opportunity to return to its blissful wonder.“
